hey people...cuti dh start since last week..17 dec until 16 Jan. but I have exam on 13 Jan :(
walaupun cuti..bukannya nak enjoy pun okeyh .still kena study :(((((((

I have to read all these textbooks. please all these books except one , pinjaman library.membazir la beli. it is just too expensive and beribu-ribu RM. and some I'll be using it for a year. the one yang akan guna 3 tahun baru beli. if nak beli pun, elaun tak akan cukup.

and yes I was busy during the term. but not now. nak study and jalan2 ckit hehe

most of my friends are travelling outside UK, ada yang pegi Mesir , ada yang pegi Paris, Amsterdam pun ada.
BUT, you now why I did not travel outside UK, sebab nak duit lebih untuk shopping for boxing day HAHAHA
nak travel banyak lagi masa. the thing is bila sampai UK banyak lagi keperluan diri  tak cukup.I need to get pinggan mangkuk yang ada corak-corak so that boleh differentiate dari pinggan mangkuk kat dapur. rasa macam dah contaminate sebab dah terkena babi. owh BABI okeyh.
and periuk pun kena beli baru and yang berkualiti. ini bukan satu pembaziran. kalo boleyh x nak beli better spend on something else..cam baju ka kasut. and SAVING!  tapi..dah kena babi, nak samak memangla boleyh tapi eiiii geli lah.
yes and I am saving some money. mana boleyh guna smua kan.
nanti kalo emergency susah plak.

hari tu kitorng pegi BATH ( bukan mandi k.) nama tempat ni Bath. ada Xmas Market. went with my housemates, ada Dalilah (singaporen girl).

Well, I might go to Bath again so malas la nak cakap pasal Bath. tapi tempat tu cantik !


last week, I had a CHRISTMAS DINNER! owh and kitorang ada SECRET SANTA. apekah itu? well cabut undi and kalo dapat nama sorang budak nie, so kena bagi hadiah la kat dia. tapi x boleyh bgtaw spa orng yg kita kena bagi hadiah. for my secret santa, i gave her a set of necklace and earrings from Dorothy Perkins. nasebbaik Dorothy Perkins buat sale hehe. and of course I did bought something else for myself from that store. dah SALE.DOROTHY PERKINS k. kat malaysia mahal kowt.

tengok. this is my housemates and sorng lagi malaysian yang tangkap gambar.
in this house, we have 2 from china, 1 singaporean, 1 jordan, 1 bangladesh, 3 Malaysians and a local which is our senior resident aka warden.

it is more like end term dinner ja pun.mcam potluck. tengok la makanan macam2. I just donate 2 big cheese pizzah.arh x dak makna nak masak. MALAS.

heheheeheh but I had fun and kenyang. owh and I got 2 new pashmina :)) nak tengok gamber sila ke facebook.

I know I should not buy this expensive water color,but how can I control from not buying when I kept passing the shop almost everyday. There is this one shop called "Bristol Fine Art" and this shop is selling lots of arts materials for painting and drawing. Setiap hari lalu mesti terliur tengok tingkap kedai. macam keempunan ok. nasib baik tak dak CCTV kalo x mesti kena syak nak rompak kedai. Ye la, dah lalu mesti stay 10 minit depan kedai lepas tu tempek muka kat cermin dinding kedai. HEHE and so I wanted to get a set of oil painting but then winter is coming so I cant open the window to let the awful smell out of the room. So i chose this one. 

I bought a set of brushes. I wanted to get a really good quality brush but that will cost me £5 for a brush, and I need at least 5 of different sizes. Kalo macam ni tak makan la sebulan , pokai la nanti.So I decided to get the cheap set,  5 bushes for  £5.99. and a palet. and a very fine quality of drawing block. you can only get this brand in Midvalley, the Gardens. Popular do not sell any of these brands cuz in Malaysia these are so expensive.

I was at the shop for one hour. ONE FREAKING HOUR!!!! Luckily the owner of the shop is so nice and cool. He showed me different brands and which one is good or not. He let me browse every single thing in the show. By the way it is just a small shop, ala macam kedai runcit yang kecik ja pun.

And when I have paid, I got  £8 voucher which I can use it in January. Okeyh so I know where will I spend my Januarys' money.

He even said I could sell of my painting for minimum of £50 .woohoo . eleh macam laa ada orang nak beli.
HEHE who knows. InsyaAllah ada orang beli than I wont loose anything.

All my friends are spending money by buying Iphone, Samsung Galaxy, new DSLR camera, new Ipod, Ipad, tablet and so on. I havent get any gadget stuff as I am not so interested. Besides, like I'll use all those stuff. The only gadget Im using is my Dell Laptop and my samsung Gio phone. Thats all.
and this doesnt show I am that BOROS. wanie got herself an Iphone. You see, wanie pun bleyh pakai Iphone.hehe

owh and I should have actually get myself and Apple notebook. it is just some Malaysian bullshit where people say Apple notebook or MAcbook is not compatible with these and that. helooo that is in Malaysia. Here almost everyone is using Apple. and it is compatible. even my tutor has a BIG Mac screen. wow I wanted to get one. and please pity me, I have to carry my super HEAVY DELL laptop up and down the hill. I'm thinking of saving up money to get a Macbook but it sounds IMPOSSIBLE kan. HAHA

That was like two weekends back. hoho. They had this Malaysian Nottingham games.and so I became the volunteer.just for fun. when I arrived at the uni. of nottingham, I'm so glad I'm studying in Bristol. The place is just so big until you have to use the buses to go from one place to another place. Bosan kan. Nasib baik Bristol smua walking distance , cuma kena rajin panjat tangga/bukit.hehe. On that day, there are lots of students from other uni from all over UK. banyak gila.@_@
My volunteer site was at the footbal section ( I DID NOT APPLY HERE), I applied for VIP section tp dah penuh.haih
there were 300+++ guys at that place. girls less than 30, I'm really sure.tapi bila orang ramai datang, banyak la perempuan. My duty was to run from one football court to another football court to search for referee. I dont know the rules of the game and how they play so I didnt watch. seems pretty bored. and honestly I was bored and because of that I ran away after 2 hours at that place. HAHAHAHAAHAHAH. tp datang balik la lepas tu. I went to other places untuk event sports yang lain pulak. ada congkak, batu seremban and so on. and FOOD! lapar kowt.

and I met these people at night. eleh bukan malam pun. baru pukul  6++ dah gelap macam apa. at the end of that day , smua muka penat. wanie jadi mak guard aka security job.
owh I did met zul, arif, fakhrudin and aiman. and I met almost all the seniors from Cempaka. kat cnie ada bnyk malaysian food stalls. I didnt eat that much, cuz jimat duit hahahah







The next day, Jalan-jalan area nots.

This is a joke : I completed like wat every malaysian did. ambik gambar dekat dinding-dinding lama yang buruk and tua. hahaha

I just met them. wanie punya kawan dari leeds. kitorng jalan sama2

We went to Nottingham Castle. okeyh tempat cantik tp bosan. The castle doesnt really exist actually. cuma bangunan yg direnovate + museum. so it was bored. Trust me I cant write anything interesting cuz i cant think of anything.the history was too complicated.

Anyway what we did just walk and walk and watch and snap pictures. then Fakhruddin, Zul and Aiman datang join , bawak pegi makan lunch to a very nice restaurant. So cheap. only £6 utk buffet.




Then smua orang kena balik. I have to catch up with my train. trust me train is so tiring because you have to keep changing the train. but you wont get bored and feel safer, and it is easy to go to the toilet to do any kind of business. If bus, it will be just one bus, susah nak pegi toilet and bosan sebab orang sebelah orang yang sama.


Okeyh I have to admit , I have this kind of habit to talk to strangers on public transport. and it's cool. cuz I get to know different type of British people.
I know it is dangerous to talk to strangers but kalo dah berjam-jam dalam public transport, I can go crazy if I'm too quiet.

Windsor Castle Trip

I went to Windsor Castle with BISC two weeks ago. as usual I'm the only malay girl in the trip. x kesah pun
hrmm.this is a must-go place if you are visiting UK. Windsor castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of Her Majesty The Queen . This place is like1000 years old. So, dinding batu lama, tapi masa jalan dalam castle lantai bunyi krek2..eleh..dinding ja batu, lantai tetap kayu. sama ja smua bangunan kat UK ni.But one thing macam touchy, British sayang gila kat Queen diorng from what I observed. oh gosh jeles lah sapa yang dapat jadi Queens ni. I learnt about the family tree of them.but too bad I forgot. They do have interesting history. and so many prince, princess and king and Queen. Interesting stories of Queen Elizabeth and Prince William. but I did not see any informaion or hear anything or any pictures of Princess Diana. pelik kan.

This time I met more new people. From my left Yen, Bertha, Antonia and Martine. I always met Bertha at the BISC. and others is our first time meeting each other. but everyone will be hanging out the BISC.
So we walked in a group around the castle. owh the entrance fee is £13.50 .   and I can change the ticket to a year pass. I think I might come here again one day, this place is lovely. patut la Queen pun suka tempat nie. sangat cantik taw.

This place is so big. penat nak explore. and ada audio guide so sepanjang lawatan ada explanation. sangat informative.

dalam istana x boleh tangkap gambar so i dont have any picture inside the castle. tapi boleh bayangkan lah dah nama pun castle, obviously dalam banyak benda mewah kan. tapi rasanya istana kat malaysia moden lagi kowt. 
Castle cni sbb dinding tetap buruk la. lantai pun kayu . so 'lame'. 

Can you find another guard behind us? hehe. ntah kerja diorng kawad ke kiri n ke kanan ja. sepanjang hari.

One thing captured me inside the building was the oil potraits. Omigod. potrait kat dalam bangunan ni serius macam real. those artist yang buat lukisan tu memang gifted la. the person kat oil canvas tu macam real,macam guna camera.suka gila. tapi sayang x der gambar. haih. setiap bilik yang lalu dalam castle mesti wajib ada gambar oil potrait oleh famous painters.

After the castle visit, I had to force myself to eat vegetarian food. kesian taw x. 

dah x boleyh amek daging so amek la apa ja yg ada untuk vegetarian.skali amek ko. banyak vegetables terus. dah la sampai £5. so sumbat jugak masuk sebab fikir mahal and x nak membazir. padahal kalo boleyh nak ja buang :P

tapi dah lapar :))

ini ialah something yang macam tart ada telur tapi penuh dengan brocoli and menda2 hijau. ada coslow.wueeeeek.n ada pasta ckiet..wuekkk.lepas abes makan ja, trus makan chocolate chip cookies. 

Then after that I took a bus and train ke London untuk Raya keesokan harinya. owh actually Windsor Castle is near London tapi still jauh dari central london. kena amek train . I bought ticket on the spot.nasib baik tak mahal.

Last saturday on 29th Oct, they had this Zombie Walk . It started from somewhere near Kings Square at 3.30 pm. Owh no I wasnt really there to watch this zombie thing. I went to Students Union that morning for the second hand book sale. Then, I met a group of Malaysians and so I joined them, cuz they are going to Cabot Circus & Broadmed. nope i didnt buy anything at all just window shopping. K back to the zombie, wwwwowwwww the makeup and costume was awesome.!

Honestly, nak upload gambar nei pun cam dh takut.hehe ada lagi bnyk gmbr.tp takut plak ada orng terkezzut. I have no idea why they have this zombie walk. but diorng kan nak celebrate halloween which is on 31st oct. yeah matsalleh x tawu malu kat jalan sngt bnyk..they really act like zombies. on that day they are lots of people and ZOMBIE. kena hati jalan2 jugak..kalo x diorng kaco..they ight throw blood on you. HAHA. or scare you off. but they wont harm you. I think it was just cool. HOHO.

btw dah la sblum lalu kat zombie walk nie..baru ja makan KFC halal. slalu ja terlalu kfc tu ..tp x tawu pun halal smpai la other malaysian ckp halal.hehehe. x mahal pun. licin ja 2 ketul ayam.tp lepas tngk zombies rasa cam nak termuntah. wueeeeeeek

been busy, sorry...

Salam..yurp ive been very busy. trying to adjust with the system here. and the schedule. im just so glad I live nearby.hoho.lectures and tutorials and practicals. helloo..i have 9 hours of lab per week. macam nak pengsan. sekali lab 3 jam.So..


My last post was on 21st of oct. So I shall write what I did on 22nd Oct.

I went to a picnic. the place is a bit far. owh I forgot to introduce this girl. This is Enya. She's from Norway. and she is my coursemate and the closest I have right now. I had to walk almost 1 hour to her house. and we went to picnic at the park nearby. ada matahari, tapi sejuk. I made agar-agar and roti telur. tapi part paling sedih bila ada anjing tiba datang and jilat agar2 tu. i guess sedap kowt agar2 tu. yes I mad the agar-agar on my own. jangan x percaya k. sedap sangat sampai anjing pun makan :DD

After picnic, we went window shopping kat Cabot Circus. ye la sngt window shopping kan.
That evening around 7 pm we went to International Reception at Woodland Church.organized by BISC. they were more than 500 international students that night. motif datang cnie unntuk makan FREE. ada makanan halal jugak. so bantai ja makan. i think i took 3 paha ayam. melampau kan.sebab ayam tu ayam goreng. sejak smpai cnie x masak ayam goreng pun.paham2 je la.malas nak goreng. haha. i  met lots of people.pondan dari thailand pun ada.eww dah la dah tua.lepas tu mcm perempuan.geliiiiiiii

On 23rdOct, I went shopping..again. please dont ask me how much I spent. Every spending on that day is worth it. I need all these stuff. I got 2 boots, a winter jacket. and lots of £1-£3 clothes. summer clearence dah start. and most of the clothes  got  them from kids section. I cant wear 14+ , kena cari 11-12 years old. gedabak besar nak mampos baju untuk 14 tahun ke atas. kalo pegi woman section ada ja jgk baju yg muat tapi susah nak cari saiz. and mahal. The best part was that I went to body shop and I think I did overspend there but I have to buy them cuz I need them. I got shampoo, facial wash, toner, moisturizer, sabun, scrub, lotion badan. They were on SALE. kalo beli kat malaysia benda camni pokai la umi and ayah. all the stuff was like 50%. so bantai je la.lgpun mmg x beli lgpun sebelum ni. mekap kat bodyshop x der sale lagi. kalo ada kena angkut banyak kat cikti.haha tapi mmg serius murah. £2 = RM 10. mana ada barang bodyshop kat Malaysia RM 10. 










From 24th Oct until now.macam biasa.sekolah.lectures.tutorials and lab sampai hari tu.
haha.tipu je la kan kalo seminggu buat benda nie.x dak life langsung.

On wednesday, I went for Knitting Afternoon at BISC. every wednesday petang x der kelas sbb mmg uni allocate for sports activities. but I did not join any sports sebab MALAS. The only society that i join yg macam aktif is public speaking society. wohoooooo. about this ill update nanti.hehe. I did join the malaysian singaporean society and the islamic society..tp biasa je la. berbalik kpd knitting, I learnt how to use with 2 needles. mcm umi ajar satu needle. tp x ingat langsung nak buat cmna. so mcm belajar benda baru la. 

Gambar nie diambil masa smua orng dh balik dh. tidak seblum nie ramai. I was lepaking there until 5.30 pm.ye la dah nama pun BISC..Bristol International Student Center.so mesti la smua orng pun bukan matsalleh. most of my activities here banyak join BISC. memang la BISC is funded by christian union.but BISC is for evryone..cuma yg membayar nya je lain. tempat nie best . I m always here on Monday and Friday. Monday for british afternoon tea which is only £1.50 .Friday is lunch , only £2.50. Worth it, worth it cuz all you can eat. tapi bukan smua boleyh makan pun, kena cari vegetarian food.Agak nyilu sebab veg food, salad ja bnyk.eww nasib baik ada pasta, bread and cheese pizza. kalo x muka jadi hijau la lama2 makan sayur and salad. eiiiiiii x sedap.

n i ve just bought a textbook .£ 46 . bila dh smpai buku tu kat umah. rasa macam kekesalan sbb OMG MAHAL nak mampos. ini la barang yg dibeli paling mahal sejak smpai cnie.
harap2 buku tu x kluar the eight edition. yg ada skrng 7th edition. x dak buku 2nd hand sbb buku tu baru kluar ja.

Salam. I think I should set 30 minutes to update some stuff here. Some people just to caring to know what;s I've been up with. I've been busy since yesterday, well maybe last week. I had my first lecture at 9 am. And I had to run on the first day of class because I couldn't find the lecture hall. hehe. and I had to run again to catch up with my second lecture which started at 10 am. The two places are quite far and yes definitely hilly.And today I had two lectures again and a LAB. Biochemistry and chemistry lectures so far so good. But I'm thinking of changing Anatomy to Physiology. I just found out that Anatomy is just about memorizing the body parts of human and animals. I don't think this would be useful for me unless I'm taking medicine. In other case, physiology is far more interesting. Yurp, I've read and do some research. yeah i know I should have done it earlier. ala mana la nak tawu kannnn.Anyway, these 3 textbooks, just borrowed from the library with the help of ChingChai, my cempaka senior. I'm glad I bump into him at the library. I didnt really search for the books. He picked those up for me. hehe melampau kan.

This is Wills Memorial Building. selalu sangat lalu kat sini. tadi lalu jugak. kena pegi students union untuk ambik bank letter and then pegi Llyods nak bukak bank account. sekejap ja pun. lepas abes kelad dr pkl 9 to 9.50 pecut pegi , smua selesai dalam pkl 10.30 cuz appointment dengan bank pkl 10.15. memang best pecut, bila dah selesai macam nak tercabut lutut cuz lari naik bukit. yeah did I mention , kaki lebam and ada luka sebab jatuh yang memag melampau. haha. this is not a complaint but i think it's funny. It is not easy to walk when there is wind coming toward you and worse more if you are going uphill. Yes, I shall say one more time again , This place is more hilly. I am a healthy girl, tapi dah sakit lutut dah. I wonder if Umi datang cnie macam mana la nanti. so Ayah kena la cari kereta kan..? yess my life would be much easier too *wink*. x per, parking boleyh cari. haha. owh gambar x dak orang and kereta sebab ambik masa hari ahad pagi pukul 8. manusia x wujud kat jalan langsung. masa ni pegi umah senior kejap, amek rice cooker free. jimat $$$.

This is the schedule for last week induction week. I told you guys I was busy. Even when there was nothing, I was going downhill and uphill buying keperluan asas. x boleyh beli sekali gus skali sebab nak mampos la heret naik bukit. so pandai2 la buat 4 enam kali trip. I love the International Students Welcome Event. met lots of new people from everywhere and I found out it is much more easier to mingle with international students rather than locals here. I know British people are polite but errm it's just hard sometimes.

These are the FREE goodies I got from FRESHERS FAIR on Thursday. These stuff in ONE day. and I went on Friday too. Freshers fair is like where you have booth for many societies and clubs. and other companies too. So what I did was buat muka x malu, and just talk with the people at the booth, and sign up for something. ala write down names and email, and then they give free stuff. But it doesnt mean I join their clubs. hhehe dasar tamak kan. cuz I went to almost every booth. eg of stuff: coupuns, towel, bag, noodles, yeah lots of sweets and chocolates and candies, and 5 music thumbdrive from vodafone :P Funny thing at vodafone booth was, I told them that I'm new and Im still looking for a phone and I got more stuff than my friend who said she already had a phone. But at that time I already have a phone. I'm using Lebara temporarily.

On Saturday, I took a free bus to Wai Yee Hong, an oriental shop, very far. and I bought some useful stuff. I went to IKEA too (murah gila2 brng kat ikea)  I had to buy maggi. it's expensive but since I;m not good in converting money by using my head so I cant see the price difference. and if you can see I have minced garlic, minced ginger, minced red chili, minced green chilli. yeaaaaaay , x payah kupas bawang or potong cili. sumbat ja smua  nie kalo nak masak.  kenapa x pernah jumpa ya benda mcam nie kat malaysia. kan senang kalo ada macam nie. and I need hot chocolate and tea to warm my stomach. and I decided to try different kind of brand buy buying small packets. only 30 p each small packet and i bought like 6 different kind of drink. nak try dulu. they even have ginger chocolate.euwwwwwww. mcm mn la rs tu. x ambik pun yg tu. mcm pelik ja bau nnti. yeah i know ive said I wont buy stuff with tesco brand but it is to hard to resist the cheap price. botol salt yg besar tu cuma 25 p ok. yg tu je kowt brand tesco takat nie. owh and I bought milk ( not from tesco) kat kedai atas bukit near my place. masa bayar hr tu terkejut sebab beli botol besar, masa tu dah bwk kluar 5 pound dah pun cuz ingat hara 3 pount ke atas. but rupanya cuma 99 p for big bottle of milk. so damn cheap. I think I'm done with buying the kitchen stuff. I have stocks of frozen fish, telur,hotdog and ayam halal, nasi pun berasmati pnyaaaa! murah gila. and buah pun slalu beli. pisang yg besar gedabak and bnyk dlm 7-10 bleyh dpt dlm 88 p saja. puas kowt makan tu. and yess chocolate, x beli tipu la kan. I did buy some untuk snacks between kelas. buah x beli sngt sbb bnyk sngt makanan x tawu nak makan apa. tp i admit I am very lazy to cook. and x yah malu kalo masak x jadi cuz Ive seen worse in this house. lagi dasyat gila nak mampos lepas makanan dh siap masak. smua x reti masak la dlm umah nie. yes i do think i can cook better than them in this house. ok perasan kejap. owh im talking a lot bout food. jangan risau, I will always take care of my body, x nak gemuk. kawasan sini hilly so slalu naik bukit and turun bukit, bakar lemak jgk, im thinking of joining the fitness activities every wednesday, yurp will start tomorrow. I'm going to the free taster session. dekat sj pun. atas bukit .

I think I'll just talk bout these stuff for now. nak study nie.it's already 9.30 pm. I usually sleep around 11 or sometimes at 10 pm I'm in heaven already. penat woo naik bukit. and its easy to wake up at 3 am in teh morning, bunyi ambulans adn friday night, bising sbb manusia mabuk lalu lalang.

so thats all for now. yeah and I dont do uploading pics on facebook. I'll say honestly that I feel like jakuns if i upload my pics on fb. sngt malu hehehehe.

Bristol, I am here :)

Salam.
I wanted to post something here since the day I arrive in Bristol but I had been busy and tired. So yeah, i am in Bristol and I arrived here last Saturday on the 1st October 2011. A new chapter of my life will start here.

So my flight took nearly freaking 14 hours from KLIA to Heathrow Airport. From London, I had to take a bus which is another 2 and half hour. By the time I reached Bristol it was already around 10 am. 

There were 4 other JPA scholars and few from MARA. The so not best part was I had to pull my 26 kg of luggage uphill and downhill. Yurp, Bristol is sure a hilly place. For a night I stayed with Kak Arina, a 3rd year student here. Wei Fand and Vicky too. On that day to, in the evening she showed us around university area. I mean who shouldnt be tired . lol.

This place is nice. They have old buildings everywhere. Outside can be ugly sometimes and pretty too. but in the inside they are very modern. First night in Bristol, I do think my body had a body shock with the weather. My nose was bleeding and I had a feverish feeling. So, I took one panadol only. But I'm still sick until today which is now on Friday. I guess my bodyreally has low immune system. 

 On Sunday I move in to my accommodation. My room is big. I'm happy with it. Only the part where my room is a bit slanting. Come on, this house is very old. It has wooden floor but it is has carpet. And the hill is quite challenging to walk up. But most of the time, I used the back door to get anywhere because there is  staircase which is way better to go uphill. I've been climbing uphill and downhill since the day I arrive, I do think I have more muscles now. CEH, perasan.

Yurp, thats why I cant post any updates here. Because the induction week started on Monday and I had something going on everyday. Even I had to do grocery bit my bits because there is no way to carry stuff uphill if I do bulk shopping. And most of the time by the time I reached 'home' , I'm too tired to do anything and I just lay around resting :)
